Chatham artists guild celebrates its annual studio tour, allowing art patrons and lovers to travel around the county and see artists in their studios. Works are for sale and I will have a variety of originals, prints, and cards. I will be in town, at 508 Thompson Street in Pittsboro, this year for the first time. Upcoming beginner classes every other Sunday at Pittsboro Gallery of Arts, 44-A Hillsboro St, Pittsboro, NC. Classes are Sunday afternoons. $120 for the series of 6 classes. Improve your watercolor painting skills with experienced and fun watercolor painter, Beth Bale. This juried annual exhibit will include original watercolor paintings from outstanding watercolor artists throughout the state of NC. Juror and world-famous watercolor artist, Iain Stewart has chosen 70 paintings and the exhibit will be on display in West Jefferson, NC, from Oct. 6 to Nov. 18. The show will continue on to several other locations in the state. My painting, “Window Seat”, will not be traveling and only will be on display in West Jefferson. I hope you can go see this show and make a day of fabulous art! It is going to be an impressive show.

My work can be seen year-round in The Joyful Jewel in Pittsboro, NC.  I keep new and fresh work on my wall there as well as a good selection of quality prints.  There are always smaller original paintings available for less than $100 also.

I had a cat painting accepted into this show at the Cary Gallery of Artists, in Ashworth Village, Cary, NCIt is an exhibit of paintings that are less than 13" on any side, including frame.

I organized this beautiful show at Campbell House for the Watercolor Society of NC's Central Region.  We have 69 stunning watercolor paintings in this beautiful setting.  They are open Mon to Fri and an occasional Saturday.  It is in horse country in Southern Pines, NC.  I have two paintings in the exhibit and they are for sale.  "White" is a large painting of an iris and "3 Horses" is ...well, you know, horses.  I hope you can go see this show.  Many of our members in this show are nationally and internationally known and award-winning.

I will be leading a 6-class series for beginner to intermediate painters at The Joyful Jewel in Pittsboro, NC. Each class is 2 hours on a Sunday afternoon. The focus of the class will be 3 classes on landscape painting and 3 on loose animals in watercolor. My classes are no-pressure and fun, offering basic to intermediate instruction, demonstrations of my techniques and each class has time for practice of specific skills and time to work on your own landscape or animal. The Chatham Artists Guild's Studio Tour is an incredible experience.  As an art patron I used to drive around the county to many studios during the 2-weekend event and was inspired by all the terrific art.  

This is Saturday and Sunday of each of the first two weekends in December.  Come out to my studio in southern Chatham County, see where I paint and view my art.  You may also visit with my horses and chickens if you like.

The Sanford Brush and Palette Club creates a terrific (and very large) show each year at the Hale Center (old Sanford Armory), which is now the community recreation center.  We turn the entire basketball court into a huge gallery with more than 400 paintings.  I will have many paintings and prints at this show.
